A slight gasp erupted from Varina’s lips the moment Avery pulled her in close capturing her lips in a sweet kiss. The blonde demon leant in closer to him staring up into his eyes as they pulled away for air.
“J’taime…” He whispered in her ear. “I love you so much… Thank you my love..”
Before Avery could even speak the blonde demon crossed the room with superhuman speed letting her hands wrap softly around his waist while her chin rested on his shoulder. Despite his incessant shaking due to his anger Varina held on tight knowing that it would calm him down; pressing a soft kiss to his cheek.
“I don’t care what happened, I still love you and you’re a beautiful man…” she whispered softly, holding tight.
“Why am I so pathetic? What is wrong with me?” He snarled as he moved to the kitchen, quickly turning on the tap in attempt to wash the blood from his arms.
As the demon scrubbed his his arm with his hand it became more and more desperate as his thirst increased. “What would Varina think of me?” He questioned himself as he growled, not being able to remove the blood from his skin.
The blonde cautiously walked through their house sucking in a deep breath and feeling on high alert she dumped down her bag and snuck to the kitchen quietly, watching from the doorway her brows creasing and a frown evident on her face. Never before had Varina seen Avery so upset before and it saddened her a little, he was always so confident, precise and sometimes even cocky when it came to surgery but now here her boyfriend was; distressed over the slightest incident.
Avery had rushed home the moment he’d almost lost control in the workplace, he couldn’t believe how quickly it had happened. The human body on the metal table in front of him had been so alluring, the blood rushing to his senses almost lunging for the body he was about to conduct surgery on.
The demon stood at the sink washing the blood irritatedly from his skin trying to calm down.
